Community Service

At AWWWsome, we believe strongly that being a good neighbor includes giving back to the community.

We decided the best, most productive way for us make a contribution was through Internet related services. So we have developed the following programs and databases:

Virtual Redding - our no-cost directory of Northern California businesses and services. Although we are actively locating and listing area businesses, anyone we've missed with a valid business or service is invited to submit information for inclusion.

Community Calendar - incorporating all area activities that we are aware of. Our goal is an accurate, comprehensive listing available to the community 24 hours a day. You can help by e-mailing calendar@awwwsome.com whenever you have information that we don't.

Movie Listings - updated each Friday from the Record Searchlight movie section. This is not only a great way to find out what's playing where, but most listings have direct links to the "trailers" posted by the movie studio.

Weather - current local, state and national conditions and forecasts. With links to almost any weather related issue you can think of, there's no reason not to know!

We also support many fine charity and non-profit organizations through low-cost development and hosting of their websites.

Kool April Nites
Redding Airshow 97
Redding Rodeo
Math 1st - providing a math education program designed to generate interest in the use of mathematics within 2nd-7th grade students.
North State Blood Center
Shasta Blues Festival
Shasta Rose Society
Redding Beer and Wine Festival

Please consider contributing your time and money to these fine community activities. And please let them know you found them on the Internet.
