Welcome to

Tyson's Sunshine Guides

Each Sunshine Guide describes, month-by-month, the most likely weather at a specific place. Other weather can (and possibly will) occur, but these descriptions cover the most probable conditions. Each Sunshine Guide consists of a single page on a single area, and contains both descriptive text and a month-by-month table of conditions. I designed them for both the pleasure and the business traveler.

You can compare one month with another to select the best time to go. You can compare one place with another to select the destination that best meets your weather needs. You can check a particular month at a particular place to see what you need to pack. You can simply read them for pleasure.

The CD-ROM containing the 2001 Edition of Tyson’s Sunshine Guides contains more than 740 individual world travel destinations.

All of the files on the CD-ROM are in the .pdf format. You must have an Acrobat Reader of Version 5.0 or later to read them. Earlier versions won’t do it. The CD-ROM contains installation programs for installing Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 on your computer. To do this, you must have a Windows 95 or later operating system; or a Mac binary operating system. If you have some other kind of operating system, you should first contact www.adobe.com to make sure that there is a Reader for you.

You can view the List of these places, and (maybe) look at some samples. Except for the samples of Sunshine Guides, these web-site files are not in the .pdf format, but can be read as easily as you read this page. The sample Sunshine Guides are in the .pdf format because I could not get them into the .html format. Hence, you will need an Acrobat Reader to view these.
